Patch Picks: Wolves; Slam Dunks; Last Summer

There is something for everyone to do this week in the Hudson Valley.

. Dec. 26. 9 a.m. Westchester County Parks' 13th-annual Westchester County Slam Dunk Tournament presents some of the area's best high school basketball teams. $5. Westchester County County Center, 198 Central Ave., White Plains.

. Dec. 29. 11 a.m. Introduce your kids to wolves through mythology. Visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr as well as the Wolf Conservation Center’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Registration is required. $13. Wolf Conservation Center, 7 Buck Run, South Salem.

. Dec. 30. 1 p.m. Receive a movie ticket and a 1 week NYSC membership for donating. Call 845-358-1818 to reserve your donation time. Free. New York Sports Club, 3565 Palisades Center Dr., West Nyack.

. Dec. 26. 11 a.m. The Paper Bag Players are funny and energetic performances for families with children ages 2 and up. $18. Emelin Theatre for the Performing Arts, 153 Library Ln., Mamaroneck.

. Dec. 27. 6 p.m. Experiment with color and technique to learn the art of cartooning. $50. Old Town Hall, 67b Main St., Brewster.

Dec. 25. 2 p.m. For something completely different, revisit last summer as seen through the eyes of artist Joe Mullins. Free. Croton Free Library, 171 Cleveland Dr., Croton on Hudson.
