Bedford Cops: 3 Drove with Suspended Licenses

One was stopped during a seat belt enforcement detail.

Officers with the Bedford Police Department recently arrested the following individuals, who are accused of driving with suspended licenses:

  • Peekskill resident Mynor Flores-Romero, 26. Officials reportedly saw him using a cell phone while operating a 2000 Mercedes Benz at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday near Depot Plaza on Main Street in Bedford Hills. Investigation during a subsequent traffic stop showed that Flores-Romero's license had been suspended, police said. He's facing a misdemeanor charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, as well as a traffic infraction. The defendant posted $100 bail and was released pending a Feb. 21 appearance in Bedford Justice Court.
  • Ossining resident Cilberio Quithimbo, 40. Police stopped him at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday on Route 35 in Katonah, after he failed to lower his high-beams while driving a 1995 Toyota Camry behind a patrol car, officials said. Investigation during a subsequent traffic stop showed that Quithimbo's license had been suspended, according to police. Authorities charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation, as well as a traffic infraction and a violation. The defendant posted $100 bail and was release pending a Feb. 14 appearance in Bedford Justice Court.
  • Pound Ridge resident John Wrynn, 47. Police stopped Wrynn, who was driving a 2004 Toyota Rav4, during a seat belt enforcement detail because he was not wearing one, officials told Patch. Investigation during a subsequent traffic stop showed that Wrynn's license had been suspended, according to police. He is facing a misdemeanor charge of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, as well as a violation. The defendant posted $200 bail and was released pending a Feb. 28 appearance in Bedford Justice Court.
