A 31-year-old Bethel, CT woman who authorities stopped for failing to switch on her headlights was arrested on a drunken driving charge, officials say.
Bedford Police lodged three infractions and one misdemeanor, driving while intoxicated, against Juanita Navarro.
When cops pulled her over on Route 35 at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday they reportedly detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage. Navarro, who was driving a 2010 Ford Focus, is accused of failing field sobriety tests.
She refused to submit to a chemical test at police headquarters, where she posted $200 bail and was released pending a future appearance in Bedford Justice Court.
