Police Seeking Burglar Caught on Video

Police are looking for a suspect who stole equipment valued at $7,000 from Bedford Mowers.

A man kicked open the front door of Bedford Mowers the night of Aug. 6, stole eight Stihl power saws and left through the front door—but not before being videotaped by the store's surveillance camera.

The commerical business at 385 Adams Street in Bedford Hills provides sales, service and repair of lawn mowers and other equipment.

Bedford police are seeking the suspect, described as a light skinned male, slender build, sporting a crew cut. He was driving a dark-colored Chevy S-10 blazer or similar model, with front fog lights, and a dent on the rear hatch below the window.
