Katonah-Bedford Hills Women Lead "The Pink Line"

The following was sent by Dania O’Connell (PR) – Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corp. 

For the first time in over fifty years, Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corp. is led by women.  June 2014 – May 2015 

These strong and capable women are supported by a crew of talented men and women who make sure the job gets done.  Together, we are all proudly dedicated to serving our community.

About Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps:

The Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps (www.kbhvac.org) is the primary provider of basic emergency medical services for Katonah, Bedford Hills, large sections of I- 684 and the Saw Mill Parkway. The Corps also provides mutual-aid to the surrounding communities. KBHVAC was founded in 1963 and now responds to approximately nine hundred emergency 911 calls a year – treating and transporting patients to the local hospitals and trauma centers. KBHVAC is entirely managed and supported by volunteers from the local community.
