The morning of May 20th couldn't have had better weather, and the Bedford Fire Department couldn't have had a better Pancake Breakfast.

Members of the community and neighboring areas came out to support the Volunteer Members of the Bedford Fire Department at the Annual Pancake Breakfast.

Pancakes, coffee, juice, and sausage were enjoyed by many, and the town showed its support in the boot drive as well. EMT Heather Feldman sold the popular BFD t-shirts, while Firefighter Seth Hirschel manned the Antique Replica Raffle, and discussed possible membership with some of the breakfast goers.

Many of our younger diners also enjoyed visiting several of our firetrucks, and learning all about how they are used from Firefighter John Arena, and Firefighter Shannon Siemers. All in all it was a major success, and the committee would like to thank everyone who came out! We'd also like to pay a big thank you to the people on the griddles, the wonderful BFD Kitchen Crew.

If you are interested in joining the BFD, please contact us at 914-234-3133. T-Shirts will be on sale this summer at our Memorial Day Parade, Block Party and Fireman's Parade.
