State police announced the arrest of two women after their disabled vehicle stopped on Interstate 684.

Police stated that a 20-year-old Bedford woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), a misdemeanor, after troopers came to the scene to assist due to the vehicle being disabled.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old Armonk woman who was with her was also arrested. She was charged with resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, which are both misdemeanors. She was also charged with disorderly conduct, which is a violation. The Armonk woman was accused by police of obstructing a sobriety test for the Bedford woman.
