Police Investigate Road Rage Incident

An altercation involving two drivers on Route 35 could lead to future charges, police say.

Bedford police are investigating a Jan. 25 incident between two drivers at the intersection of Route 35 and the on-ramp for I-684 southbound.

The altercation took place during the morning commute when one driver apparently became angry with another driver's actions behind the wheel. After getting out of his car, one driver approached the other car and punched the drivers' side front window, shattering it, according to police.

No charges have been filed but the investigation is ongoing.

Police investigate larceny at Kohl's

A woman phoned police on Jan. 25 at 2:45 p.m. to report a stolen pocketbook. The woman said she left her bag in a shopping cart after purchasing groceries at Shop Rite and loading the food into her car. She didn't realize until she returned home that she left her pocketbook in the car.

Police are reviewing surveillance video from the parking lot. The value of the missing property is approximately $140, police said.
