A 30-year-old Connecticut man was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after New York state police clocked him doing 85 mph on I-684, police said.
He was pulled over at 1:54 a.m. April 6.
The Newtown resident provided police with an ample breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .16 percent, two times the legal limit of intoxication, police said.
He was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Lewisboro Court April 14.
