Report: Dog Missing After North Castle House Fire

The occupants of a North Castle house escaped a Friday morning fire but their dog is now missing, according to a report from The Journal News.

Banksville Fire Chief Al Farquhar told the newspaper that the blaze involved about 80 firefighters responding. The newspaper reports that the couple's other dog was able to escape the fire.

The Journal News also reported that the owners of the home, located at 8 Hobby Farm Drive, stayed at a neighbor's house.

Patch's photos of the structure, taken on Friday, show that the building is gutted.
