South Salem Man Arrested on Warrant

GREENWICH—Police stopped a driver who was described as "driving unreasonably fast" in the 300 block of North Street, and ended up arresting him on a warrant charging him with second-degree failure to appear in court.

According to a Greenwich Police report, Brandon J. Haug, 29, of South Salem, was stopped by police shortly after 1:10 a.m. Dec. 20. A records check indicated Haug was wanted on a 2006 warrant obtained by upstate Tolland Police charging him with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Haug was released after posting a $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear Dec. 27 in state Superior Court in Rockville.
