Two men were arrested on the evening on March 15 during a cooperative effort between State Police and local law enforcement on DWI Enforcement Detail on the Sprain Brook Parkway, according to officials.
John Nikaj, 20, of 367 Lakeshore Rd. in Putnam Valley, was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. Nikaj was released pending appearance in the Town of Cortlandt Court.
Carl J. Cartelli III, 26, of 660 Sharon Lane in Yorktown Heights, was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated. Cartelli was released pending appearance in the Town of Yorktown Court.
Westchester County, Pelham, and New Rochelle Police were a part of the detail.
