Several local fire departments are having open houses this weekend:
The Bedford Hills Fire Department announced that its will be on Oct. 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Katonah Fire Department announced that its will be on Oct. 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited to see its renovated engine room and its new training tower.
The South Salem Fire Department announced that its will be on Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Westchester County Police, New York State Police and the Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be visiting. Features announced by the fire department include a fire safety trailer, bouncy house, refreshments, car seat installations and blood pressure screenings
