A man with a knife was supposedly standing behind a red vehicle in Mount Kisco. The man reportedly got into a vehicle that looked like a Jeep and went northbound on Lexington Avenue.

Harrison police said . Doug Harrison encountered Lawrence Morrison, 29, the would-be burglar allegedly made a threatening gesture, then ran away. Harrison and his Rottweiler chased Morrison to the burglar's home, when his mother turned him in to police. Morrison is charged with first-degree burglary and attempted escape—both felonies—and misdemeanor charges of menacing, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools. He is being held in Westchester County Jail without bail.

A Tarrytown taxi driver called police to report a slow-moving McDonald's drive-thru, which he said . When police arrived on scene, they issued a village code infraction to the driver for not displaying his taxi identification badge, returnable to Justice Court on 11/17.
Surprise! Teens Hang Out Together, Talk Loud and Laugh
A group of 13-to-14-year-old girls hanging out in Hastings on Warburton just after 10 p.m. were supposedly laughing and "kidding around" when an unidentified male yelled from a window: The girls got scared and ran north on Warburton. Elsewhere in Hastings, an Edgewood Avenue resident reported a "large group of teenagers" going into the woods, but police didn't find them.
Fresh Kicks
A Port Chester man swapped his old sneakers for a fresh new pair at Kohl's Wednesday, but didn't take well to a security guard's attempt to stop him. David Wllis, 41, said according to witness statements. Willis then ran, but a D.A.R.E. officer in the area took him into custody. Willis is charged with third-degree robbery, a felony.
