A state trooper stopped a 27-year-old woman from Danbury CT who they said was speeding on I-684 in Bedford at 9:15 a.m. May 10. He found she was alcohol-impaired. When he attempted to place her in custody, she pushed him and became combative. A second trooper arrived to help. She was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Bedford Court May 22.
Also on May 10, State Police made two arrests during a DWI enforcement detail in northern Westchester area. A 23-year-old man is due in Town of Cortlandt Court on May 16. A 29-year-old man is due in Peekskill city court May 15.
