I believe Mr. Cohen ran in an unsuccessful campaign, he should be able to provide you with the correct information on that.

Hi Len, thank you—yes, he did. We covered that election, the close tallies and Cohen's eventual concession in the 2010 race http://larchmont.patch.com/articles/cohen-concedes-oppenheimer-takes-37th-state-senate-seat. This is a basic candidate profile and we are publishing candidate profiles for every race affecting local districts. In addition, we have an election guide, here: http://patch.com/A-vhnz As we receive the profiles, we publish them. And we'll continue covering races and candidates as issues arise and elections draw near. Thanks for your comment.

Nice work, thanks for the clarification on Cohen's unsuccessful bid for a NYS Senate seat in 2010. Thanks for keeping us all informed.

The election guide is a fair description of the candidates and does not intrude on the ability of the reader to digest the facts and identify the constests. Patch should continue to publicize it.

Donald, I was just pointing out that Mr. Cohen had previously run for and lost in a NYS Senate election. It should be noted.
