Dry Ice Vouchers, Distribution Today in Bedford, Mt. Kisco

Distribution starts Friday in Mt. Kisco at 1 p.m., at intersection of West and Elm.

Residents can stop by town hall in Bedford to pick up a dry ice voucher to use when the deliveries come into town hall.

In addition, state Sen. Greg Ball's office will have dry ice to distribute in Mount Kisco, confirmed Joe Bachmeir, a spokesman for Ball.

The distribution starts at 1 p.m. today and will be given out on a first come, first serve basis, Bachmeir said. There will also be water and barbecue served.

The Mount Kisco distribution is in addition to dry ice being given out in Armonk by Con Edison.

The most recent update from Bedford states that the town is still in a state of emergency—dozens of roads remain closed and unecessary travel is prohibited. There is a regional shortage of gasoline and cars waiting at gas stations are clogging roads, impeding recovery efforts. Officials encourage locals to conserve gas and not travel if possible.
