Jeffrey Morris Receives Key Endorsements

Morris is challenging incumbent Janet Donohue for the position of Lewisboro Town Clerk.

Lewisboro Town Clerk candidate Jeff Morris has added endorsements by Westchester County Clerk Tim Idoni and County Board of Legislators Majority Leader Pete Harckham to his growing base of support.

"Jeff Morris has the qualities needed to bring a new level of professionalism and innovation to the Town Clerk's office,” said Idoni. “I heartily endorse him for Lewisboro Town Clerk."

Said Harckham, “In the years I’ve known Jeff Morris, he’s exhibited a rare combination of vison and experience, grounded in practical reality that gives him a can-do attitude. He has a keenly analytical mind and personal demeanor that will serve him well as Town Clerk.”

Jeff had earlier been endorsed by Lewisboro Supervisor Peter Parsons, who said, “Jeff has the technical skills to save your tax dollars and improve service by modernizing Lewisboro's paper flow, information services and record keeping. His quiet sense of humor is a critical qualification for the Town's gatekeeper.

The right candidate at the right time, he will make an excellent Town Clerk."
Lewisboro Town Councilman Dan Welsh has also endorsed Jeff for Town Clerk, and he has the backing of the Lewisboro Democratic Committee and the Westchester Working Families Party.

A 36-year Lewisboro resident, Jeff lives in South Salem with his wife and two children, one a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, the other attending John Jay High School.
