Register to Vote Saturday in Bedford

Voting District Changes:

A special VOTER REGISTRATION will take place Saturday, Oct. 13, 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Bedford Town House, 321 Bedford Road, from 12 noon to 9 PM.

Voter Registration Forms and Absentee Ballot Applications are available at either the Bedford Town Clerk's Office or at the Westchester County Board of Elections Office, 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains or online:

When registering to vote please note that applications must be postmarked not later than October 10th and received by the Board of Elections not later than October 15th.

November 6th General Election Information
The 2012 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6th. Polls will open at 6am and close at 9pm. First time voters who registered by mail must show ID.

Change of address from a registered voter must be received by the County Board of Elections by October 15th.

Voting by Absentee Ballot requires an excuse and you must be physically out of the County during the hours the polls are open.

October 28th is the last day to postmark application or letter of application for absentee ballot.

November 3rd is the last day to apply in person and last day to postmark ballot, which must be received by BOE not later than November 11th.

November 3rd is the last day to deliver a ballot in person to BOE.
