Pound Ridge Dems Show Leadership & Vision at Candidate’s Forum

(Pound Ridge, NY – October 21, 2013) – The League of Women Voters Candidates’ Forum at Pound Ridge Library was filled to standing room only as the Pound Ridge Democratic candidates -- Ali Boak for Town Supervisor, and Dan Paschkes and Sherene De Palma for Town Board directly addressed concerns of voters from both parties.

"I was incredibly proud of our slate at the League of Women Voters' forum- who demonstrated how capable, prepared and articulate they are," said Roslyn Stone-Pollock, Pound Ridge Democrat chair and campaign manager. "We are solidly focused on the issues and solutions; protecting all that we love about Pound Ridge but realistic that there are decades' old problems, including empty store fronts, water and sewage issues in Scotts Corners and a lack of town-wide cell service that needs to be addressed. Ali Boak, Dan Paschkes, Sherene De Palma and Ira Clair as a team clearly show it's time for real leadership. They possess the skills and experience that we need to protect our town for the future."
