League of Women Voters’ Candidates Forum on Tuesday, October 22

(Pound Ridge, NY -- October 17, 2013) -- The Pound Ridge Democratic and Republican Committees will jointly host a candidates forum, moderated by the League of Women Voters, and sponsored by the Pound Ridge Library, on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pound Ridge Library (271 Westchester Avenue). Voters who would like to learn more about the candidates for Town Supervisor, Town Board and Town Justice are encouraged to attend and will have opportunity to submit their questions.

The format of the evening is similar to previous candidate forums. As Pound Ridgers arrive, they are invited to write questions for the candidates. After each candidate is given an allotted time to make a brief personal introduction, Sheila Bernson, a trained League of Women Voters' moderator from New Castle, will pose questions.

After the question and answer period, candidates will then have the opportunity to make brief closing statements.
