Pound Ridge Democratic Candidates Talk with Voters at Scotts Corners Meet & Greet

(Pound Ridge, NY – September 17, 2013) -- On a day that bespoke autumn and the upcoming election, PR Dem candidates Ali Boak (for Town Supervisor),

Dan Paschkes and Sherene De Palma (both for Town Board) and Ira Clair (for Town Justice) were joined by NY State Assemblyman David Buchwald after his mobile office hours at a meet and greet in front of Scotts Corner Market in Pound Ridge.

“It’s great to see the Pound Ridge Democratic slate come out to meet with voters to learn more about issues of their concern,” said NY State Assemblyman David Buchwald on his swing to Pound Ridge. “The candidates’ presence indicates the openness with which they’ll approach government decision-making and their availability to Pound Ridge voters.”

“Many thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat and share their concerns about the topical issues impacting the election,” said Boak. “Our focus is to ensure that town projects are managed efficiently and effectively, improve communications and transparency between the town government and its constituents, as well as create a vibrant business district that reflects the beauty and heritage of our town.

“Regardless of political party affiliation, or whether voters are ‘liberal’ or ‘conservative,’” she continued. “I am confident our slate of candidates will represent voters well in helping to make a better Pound Ridge.”
