H. P. Sean Dweck for Town Justice Open Letter to Pound Ridge Residents

I am a lifelong resident of Westchester County and have lived in Pound Ridge for the last 12 years with my wife, Lenore, and our 15-year-old daughter, Zoe.

For nearly two decades I have been a practicing attorney, litigating matters in courts of all levels – local, state and federal. My professional experiences have taught me what it takes to be a good Judge: uphold the law, and treat the lawyers and individuals who appear in court fairly and with respect. These are values that I have lived by as an advocate and would continue to live by if elected.

I am honored to have achieved an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. The Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ is an objective indicator of a lawyer’s high ethical standards and professional ability, generated from evaluations of lawyers by other members of the bar and the judiciary in the United States and Canada. The AV Preeminent® rating is a significant accomplishment and a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence. It is the highest rating an attorney can receive.

I am also honored to have been selected to the 2013 New York Metro Super Lawyers® list. No more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor each year. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
