Community Members Speak Out: Sign the Petition to Keep LES Open

This Thursday, December 19th is a very critical milestone in our fight to keep Lewisboro Elementary School open. Although the official vote is not until January 23rd, the preliminary vote is on Thursday and is a key indicator to what will happen in January.

There are more than 830 individuals that have signed a petition to suspend the current school closure task force process and establish a new process and timelime that properly, fully, and inclusively (of our community) addresses all relevant issues. The board of education keeps referring to a small group of families that are interesting in stopping the school from being closed. However, 830 individuals is not a small group.

We need the BOE to consider the voices of this group and our community. Please sign this petition and ask local relatives, friends and neighbors to do the same, to ensure our voices are heard and we can influence the outcome of this process.
