Bedford Board Members Solomon, Gerken & Grant Start Terms with Oaths

Bedford Central School District Board of Education members who are starting their new 3-year terms took their oaths of office on Wednesday morning at the board's annual organizational meeting.

Present were Michael Solomon, who was first elected in May, and Jennifer Gerken, who was re-elected to her second term. Board member Suzanne Grant, who was also re-elected to a second term, took her oath prior to the meeting because she was leaving for a trip.

Superintendent Jere Hochman also took an oath, which he does annually. The school board also voted unanimously to keep Susan Wollin as board president and Eric Karle as vice president. The two each took oaths for their leadership roles.

Video clips of the oaths are attached to this story.
