Author Diane Ravitch will be visiting Fox Lane High School on Jan. 16, the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association (WPSBA) announced.
Ravitch's visit will be at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium, according to WPSBA, which is a co-sponsor. The other sponsor is the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents (LHCOSS), according to an announcement for her visit.
The announcement notes Ravitch's book, which is called "Reign of Error: The Hoax of the Privatization Movement and the Danger to America's Public Schools." Details about it are on Amazon.
The registration for the event is full and there is a wait list, a posted notice states.
