College Admissions Workshop: A Case Study Approach - Katonah Village Library

Tinuke Culpa and Bernadette Kenny  of Westchester College Consultants will conduct “College Admissions Workshop: A Case Study Approach” on Wednesday, March 7th, 7 p.m. at the Katonah Village Library.  Ms. Culpa and Ms. Kenny do an actual reading of the college applications and participants will assume the role of admissions counselors reviewing applications and making decisions.  Using insider information with regard to the institutional needs of the college, participants will learn how much weight is given to factors with regard to admissions decisions.  These factors include:  grades, strength of program, standardized testing, and extracurricular activities.   This program is free to the general public.  Tinuke Culpa and Bernadette Kenny each have 20 years experience in education and counseling.   For more information go to www.katonahlibrary.org/teentime.html.  Please RSVP - 914-232-3508 or email katref@wlsmail.org.
