Katonah-Lewisboro Schools to Open With Transportation Changes

All Katonah-Lewisboro schools are set to open on their regular schedule on Monday.

Tuesday will also be a regular school day for students, according to a notice issued by the school district Sunday evening.

"Some transportation and communication challenges still exist, and the district is communicating these directly to families via Connect Ed," the notice said. "The district extends its deep appreciation to the many governmental, school, and utility representatives who have helped to put the district back on its feet. Please know that we will extend every courtesy to our families, students and staff, many of whom remain without power."

Additionally:

• All youth and public sports activities on school grounds are suspended through Monday. 
• Parent teacher conferences are canceled for Tuesday for all elementary schools.
• All schools will open on their regular schedule tomorrow, November 5th. On Tuesday, November 6th, school will now be a regular school day for students.
• Before and After School CCC child care Programs will operate as usual.  All other before school programs will not operate. 
• Some telephone, internet and e-mail challenges still exist. Emergency calls can be made during the day to the following numbers:

• Attendance calls related to absences are not required for Monday November 5th. 
• Please note that regular school food service will be available on Monday November 5th. The automated school lunch cashier system is not operational in the elementary schools. In the event a student needs lunch but does not have money and the automated school lunch cashier system is still not operational, purchase information will be gathered manually and recorded later.

If your pickup location was Boutonville Rd. (Between the reservation & Rte. 121), your new pickup location is Corner of Rte. 121

GOLDENS BRIDGE AREA
If your pickup location was Allison Rd, Upper Garlen Rd, Leslie Ln, your new pickup location is #37 Almar Ln or Allison Rd. & Garlen* both locations will be checked for riders
If your pickup location was Cedar Rd, Samuel Purdy, your new pickup location is Corner of Rte. 22
