Katonah-Lewisboro's School Closure Task Force will have an update at tonight's school board meeting, according to the agenda. It will be the first update since a public hearing was held regarding the possible closure of Lewisboro Elementary School.
Since then, the task force was scheduled to have had a meeting on Oct. 15.
Some in the community who are opposed to closing LES next year spoke out at the recent meeting and a website, called wakeuplewisboro.org has been launched. It gives arguments against a school closure.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the John Jay High School auditorium. It was originally scheduled to take place in the school's library.
