Town Expands Tennis Programs: Bedford-Katonah Daily Sports Digest March 20

Instructional clinics will be offered for children ages 5 - 10 and for adults at the beginner, advaned beginner and intermediate levels. Previously the town offered lessons with one instructor over three parks for both youth and adult lessons.

"We're excited about this partnership," said William Heidepriem, Bedford's parks commissioner. "This expands the variety of lessons we offer with time and location flexibility."

The town also plans to designate one court for private instruction at discounted rates.

 

Each club will host a "meet and greet" with their instructors at town courts. Solaris will be in Katonah on Sat. April 21 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 11:00am - 12:30 p.m.; Saw Mill Club will be in Bedford Hills on Tues. May 1 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
