"Wildflowers of Westchester – 100 Years Ago" - a Bedford Audubon lecture with Naturalist Beth Herr

Lecture & Special Centennial Program: “Wildflowers of Westchester – 100 Years Ago” with Naturalist Beth Herr. Join Bedford Audubon Member Beth Herr in an exploration of the life and work of Eloise Payne Luquer (1862-1947), a self-taught botanist, artist, and naturalist who roamed Westchester’s country roads and hillsides to study, paint, and lecture. Miss Luquer was a founding member of Bedford Audubon, and her work continues to inspire our efforts today.  Lecture given at the Katonah Memorial House, 71 Bedford Rd., Katonah. No registration necessary.
