“We had a nice week of practice. We were excited to play Greeley," said John Jay Coach Jimmy Clark.

The loss was tough for Greeley. According to Coach Tim Sullivan, the team will not be in the playoffs as a result.

Sullivan cited factors including tackling as difficulties.

“I thought we had opportunities to get in the ball game," he said.

Despite the loss, Sullivan praised his team for not quitting, noting that they were down 21-0 at one point but got to 21-14 for the halftime.

Greeley, which is now 3-3, will next play against Gorton. John Jay, which is 5-1, will play rival Fox Lane at its next game.
