Farm Market Reopens At John Jay Homestead

It's officially summer—not because the calendar or earth's rotation tell us so, but because the Farm Market starts up again for the season at the John Jay Homestead.

The market is one of the summer Saturday attractions at the state park and historic site.

And it's traditional! The curators even quote John Jay II writing in 1860 about why markets are so important for communities and farmers and producers of local products.

And it specializes in some very, very local vendors: from Bedford, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge, Shrub Oak, Mount Kisco, Cortlandt, Kent and more. Produce, prepared foods, condiments, spices, breads, wines...eat there AND take home.

See the full list here and take note, because some vendors visit on a staggered schedule.
