Hartford, Conn.- Harvey’s girls lacrosse team went to the HVAL final game in Hartford, Conn. Friday looking to upset the #1 seed Watkinson School and come back home with a championship, but the Lady Cavaliers had a difficult time mustering much of an offense and lost 12-4.
Harvey scored four times in the first half on two goals by Audrey Rowe and one each from Leila Zuaiter and Lily Brouwer, but Watkinson scored nine times and led 9-4 at intermission. In the second half, Watkinson’s offense added three more goals while its defense completely shut out Harvey.
Goalie Ariana Weaver had 12 saves in front of the net for the Cavaliers.
