Two Named Harvey's Top Student Athletes of the Month

The Harvey School has announced the names of the two athletes who have earned “Student Athlete of the Month” recognition for October.

The male athlete of the month is Christian Artuso of Pleasantville, a senior captain on the varsity football team, who has had multiple 100 yards games as both a kick returner and receiver. Artuso, who has earned a place on the Headmaster’s List for attaining at least a 3.7 grade-point average, is enrolled in two Advanced Placement courses and two honors classes. In addition to his leadership role on the football team, Artuso serves as the co-president of the Community Service Club.

The female athlete of the month of October is junior Ariana Weaver of Elmsford, a key player on the school’s varsity volleyball team. A team leader in kills, aces and blocks, Weaver has been selected as a Western New England Class C All-Star. Having earned a place on the honor roll for the fall term, Weaver takes three honors classes and serves as a class representative to the student council.
