Community Center Seeks Turkeys, Sleepwear

1. Ladle of Love goes mobile

Are you a fan of Cafe of Love and Ladle of Love in Mount Kisco? Now, the soup eatery is mobile with an electric delivery truck in Westchester. Over the weekend, owner Leslie Lampert tweeted a picture of what it looks like.

2. Fourth-graders ski free

Passing along a great deal if you have a fourth-grader who likes to ski: The NY 4th Grade Ski & Ride Passport program is set for another season. It offers free skiing for kids with a paying adult and a learn to ski or snowboard package option. Click here for more information.

3. Share the warmth and food

The is collecting new warm childrens' sleepwear in its Share the Warmth clothing drive. They welcome donations of new sleepwear ages infant to 18 years. During a week when we give thanks what we have, a reminder of what others need: the CCNW food pantry needs turkeys for its Holiday Share food drive. 4. JJHS National Honor Society induction

The John Jay High School chapter of the National Honor Society will have its 54th annual induction ceremony Monday night. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the JJHS auditorium.  Performances by the Noteables and Rolling Tones. The speaker will be Blakely Brodbeck, President of the Junior League of Nothern Westchester. 

5. Fox Lane happenings

There's an 8th grade orchestra concert tonight at 7 p.m. in the middle school theatre. Plus the Fox Lane Booster Club meets, at 7:30 p.m., at Fox Lane High School. Click here for details.
