Drop Off Items for Library Fair Starting Saturday

The library fair will be held on Sat. Sept. 29.

This week begins the drop-offs for attic treasures, books and children's games at Onatru farm for the Fair, the biggest fundraiser of the year for the library.

If you want to drop off any itmes, you can do so at each Saturday in August and on Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. - noon.

What you can drop off: Books, toys, some furniture (see below for exceptions) and "attic treasures."

What they don't accept: Magazines, moldy books, textbooks, skis, encyclopedias, computers or computer peripherals, bedding, upholstered furniture, large exercise machines, stuffed animals, broken toys or incomplete puzzles.

Need some community service hours or perhaps you want to meet new people or help out?

Volunteers are needed to help out before and on the day of the fair for such jobs as sorting donations, moving books into place and manning sales areas. You can sign up at the library or online, here.
