Homestead Carriage Ball Set for May

The event will also include presentation of the Founders Award to Friends Trustee and former Board president Sascha Douglass Greenberg and her husband Evan Greenberg, Chairman and CEO of Ace Group. Together, Sascha and Evan have selflessly volunteered their time at events, and contributed generously over many years.
 
The Carriage Ball will take place in tents on the grounds of the Jay Homestead and will feature catering by Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs, music by Starlight Orchestras and an auction. Proceeds from the event will go towards the creation of interactive exhibits within the new Education and Visitor Center to be located in the restored c.1801 Carriage Barn.
 
The Friends of John Jay Homestead are currently supporting the exterior restoration of the Carriage Barn and the rehabilitation of its interior as a space that will welcome visitors, provide orientation to the site and support special exhibits and education programs. The new Education and Visitor Center will be operated and maintained by New York State site staff. The Center will include an information desk, viewing area for videos about John Jay and the site, hands-on activity space to supplement student tours and programs, state-of-the-art computer stations with interactive educational components, and a gift shop.
 
Ticket prices for The Carriage Ball range from $350 - $2500 per person. Silver Tables for 10 at $5,000, Gold Tables for 10 at $10,000 and Platinum Tables at $25,000 are also available.
 
Reservations for The Carriage Ball should be made early, as the seating is limited. John Jay Homestead State Historic Site is located at 400 Jay Street in Katonah, NY.
