Super Saturday!

Saturday Story Time at the Katonah Museum of Art

Listen to sports Coach Chris Del Campo read about characters that have hilarious adventures on the field.  Then, try a few sports moves yourself! After the reading, create imaginative, colorful balls for the sport of your choice. This event is held on Saturday, July 12 at 10:30 AM and is free. The Katonah Museum of Art (KMA) is located at 134 Jay Street (Route 22) in Katonah, NY,


Saw Mill River Audubon Second Saturday Walk at Brinton Brook Sanctuary
The Audubon's monthly walks are held year-round on the second Saturday of the month. Join the group this Saturday, July 12 at the largest sanctuary, Brinton Brook in Croton-on-Hudson. Good for ages 6 and up, held rain or shine. Meet at main parking area off Route 9A. Saturday at 9:00 AM, Brinton Brook Sanctuary, Rte 9A, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

Make your own personal flag art project!
Inspired by work from Costa Vece, each student will create their own flags out of fabric. The Museum Educator, David Licata, offers Saturday Family Education Workshops from 2 – 4 PM at the museum, 1701 Main St Peekskill, NY.

Hastings Flea
The Hastings Flea is a vintage market featuring the best local artists and vendors in the lower Hudson Valley. The flea market features live music, food trucks, vintage clothing, vintage furniture, hand made jewelry and home goods, face painting and fun family-friendly activities. The fun begins at 10:00 AM at the Metro-North Train Station Parking Lot, 131 Southside Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.

Wordscapes – Poetry and Landscape at the Katonah Museum of Art

On Sunday, July 13, come to the Katonah Museum of Art for a day celebrating poetry and landscape. Words in the Woods – a family poetry activity, 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Writing the Land, with Verlyn Klinkenborg 2:00–4:00 PM. Poetry Slam: Write it, Read it, Shout it Out, 5:00–7:30 PM.

Bastille Day at Le Chateau

Join Le Chateau on Sunday July 13 to Celebrate Bastille Day. Brunch is served from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. There is a Special Prix Fixe Dinner from 4:00 to 9:00 PM in the garden with Sobieski Vodka Tasting, drink specials and live Music with Cafe Musette. 1410 Route 35, South Salem, NY.
