Community Corner

Comedy Night; Drawing at Katonah Museum of Art; Westmoreland Hike

Here is a roundup of the weekend's scheduled events:

1. Westmoreland Sanctuary is hosting the Third Annual Mike Chace Memorial Hike at 10 a.m. Saturday. It's free.

2. If you're interested in giving back to the community, come lend a hand with the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy. A volunteer work session is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, and the goal is to restore the hiking trail that was blocked last year by storm-downed trees.

3. Yet to open that Kindle you got this holiday season? The Lewisboro Library is giving a class on how to use the device. It's set for 11 a.m. Saturday. Make sure to bring your library card number and PIN.

4. The Katonah Museum of Art presents Drawing the Face Workshop with Anne Marie McIntyre, a studio artist and educator, at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Participants will work with dark and light charcoal on brown paper.

5. In the mood for a few laughs? The Jewish Family Congregation in South Salem is hosting the Ninth Annual Comedy Night at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are available online.
