'Farm to Fashion'; BVES Walk-a-Thon; KVL Book Fair

Here's a roundup of this weekend's events:

1. Westmoreland Sanctuary announced that it's having Farm to Fashion Family Fun Day, which will include goat shearing and the presence of spinners and weavers. Pure American Naturals will be a guess, bringing Angora goats. The event starts on Saturday at noon.

2. Bedford Village Elementary School (BVES) will have a family walk-a-thon on Sunday at noon at Fox Lane High School's track, according to an announcement from the school's parent group, BVESA. The walk-a-thon is intended to raise money for 5th-graders' activities. 

3. The Katonah Village Library (KVL) announced that it's holding a local author book fair, which will run on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The full list of authors are at this link.

4. The Katonah Lewisboro Foundation announced that it will hold "Burger, Beer, & the Band" which is meant to be a fundraiser for the group. It will be on Friday at 8 p.m. at MTK Tavern in Mount Kisco.

5. The Katonah Museum of Art (KMA) announced that it's holding a digital portrait workshop for teens, which will be on Saturday at 10 a.m.

6. Basketball player Tamir Goodman will stop by Fox Lane High School this weekend for a basketball clinic, according to Chabad of Bedford, which is sponsoring the appearance. His appearance is on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
