A cultural attraction in northern Westchester, the Katonah Museum of Art does not have a permanent art collection, but it hosts five to eight exhibitions a year, which address a wide variety of art periods and styles.
It also organizes international travels, day trips to other art centers and on-site tours of art exhibits. It has a gift shop called "Shop in the Box," which features a wide variety of exhibition themed gifts. It also has a Learning Center, which features original children's book art.
The museum has a beautiful outdoor Sculpture Garden, situated among 80-foot Norwegian spruce trees. This site is host to jazz concerts in the summer, elegant soirees and community events.
