Temple Shaaray Tefila is a Reform Jewish congregation that has an Early Childhood Center. The program offers its young students the chance to appreciate and identify with their Jewish heritage in a positive and loving environment. Education through play and social activities is encouraged to develop the child's physical, social, emotional and cognitive behaviors. Schedules are designed to emphasize the child's choice while maintaining a proper balance with required structure. Classes that teach science, math and art are combined with creative approaches using music, paint and other crafts. The center offers play time through games, blocks, puzzles and play that encourages acting and creativity. Weekly Shabbat celebrations are offered.
