With over a decade of professional writing, marketing, and sales experience, Jason co-founded 1 Degree Hire with one goal in mind – help people sell the most important product on the market: themselves.

There is a lot of competition out there. Jason specializes in helping job-hunters gain an edge by developing a personal brand and utilizing social media to effectively promote themselves to prospective employers.

Jason is a regular contributor and blogger for IN New York Magazine and GuestBook New York. He also works alongside legendary baseball personality, and current My9 New York Yankees Analyst, Ed Randall, to promote his new “Talking Baseball” DVD Collection.

He spent seven years with Steiner Sports Marketing in New Rochelle, NY. There, he worked closely with hundreds of professional athletes, helping them market their personalitiesfor speaking engagements, and their memorabilia to private collectors. Jason also promoted the Steiner Sports brand by developing and implementing successful campaigns through both traditional and social media. His work appeared on WFAN,ESPN Radio, in the New York Post & Daily News and served as a Steiner Brand Ambassador during appearances on the YES Network and WPIX. He founded The Steiner Sports Blog and wrote for Yankee Legacy Magazine, a promotional publication sent to Yankees Ticket Holders.

Jason is still a consultant with Steiner Sports, assisting with advertising initiatives and hosting athlete Meet & Greet events with players like Derek Jeter and Curtis Granderson.

Prior to joining Steiner Sports, Jason worked for College Bound Sports and helped aspiring high school athletes market their skills to college recruiters. He wrote a book called, “The High School Athlete’s Guide to College Sports,” sharing many of the same promotional secrets he now passes along to first-time job-hunters.

A native of Yorktown Hts., NY, Jason graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT with a Communications/Journalism degree in 2002. He now resides in Mount Kisco, NY with his wife, Alyssa, and his daughter, Ava.
