Until parents are taught how to address their kids' substance abuse issues, until the parents in this District are taught that is not ok for a teenager to drink or smoke pot, we are going to continue seeing these unfortunate results.

Lets face it: if you go to JJHS and you're not in some club or on a sports team, there isn't much to do after school. Kids want to have fun and adventure, drug use provides that. Kids do not need more drug education: they know more and more about what they're using than ever before. You need to give them an alternative. This town has a nasty reputation for over indulgence in Pot dating back to the '70s. Let's try to change that!
