Public Hearing Tonight on Building and Fire Codes Change

1. The Bedford Town Board will hold a public hearing tonight on a series of changes to the town's Fire Prevention and Building Code. The proposed changes cover regulation of smoke detectors and fire alarm systems, specifically for when buildings should have them. The hearing starts at 7:50 p.m. at the Bedford Town House in Bedford Hills. A copy of the proposed legislation can be found here.
