Snow Predicted; Fire District Elections; Clothing Swap

1. Snow is heading into the area on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service, with one to three inches predicted.

2. Local fire districts will have their board of fire commissioners elections, according to officials, with polls being open today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Katonah, Bedford and Bedford Hills firehouses for each corresponding district. All three of the fire districts have uncontested elections, according to officials. The list of candidates is at this link.

3. The Jewish Family Congregation in South Salem announced that it's having a family clothing swap, which will be on Tuesday morning at 7:30 p.m.

4. The Katonah Village Library will have a discussion group on Tuesday morning at 10:15 a.m., according to this announcement. The topic will be about energy independence. 

5. Fox Lane High School will host the 8th grade and high school band concert on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., according to this announcement

6. The Bedford Free Library will have its preschool storytime today at 2 p.m., according to this announcement.
