1. The Bedford Town Board is scheduled to have its organizational meeting and a work session tonight, the first time that Supervisor Chris Burdick and Councilwoman Mary Beth Kass will attend in their new capacities. The work session, Burdick explained last week after he was sworn in, will be about filling his former council seat. The work session will start at 7 p.m. and the organization meeting will start at 8 p.m., according to the agenda. Town Board meetings are held in the town house in Bedford Hills.
2. The John Jay Homestead announced that its Scholars Lecture Series will involve Gilbert King. It is scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.
