The Katonah Museum of Art has announced an opportunity for individuals of all ages to participate in a high-profile exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art: Face-to-Face Community Portraits, which will be displayed in the Museum’s Project Gallery during the exhibition Eye to I ... 3,000 Years of Portraits, adding an “up-to-the-minute” look at portraiture today. The Katonah Museum of Art welcomes the submission of portraits from the community. Please note the following guidelines:
• Only one (1) submission per person
Find out what's happening in Bedford-Katonahwith free, real-time updates from Patch.
• Each piece size: 6 x 6 inches (including frame), no more than 3 inches thick
• Artwork must be original
• Artwork should be “ready-to-hang”
• Artwork must be anonymous; the artist’s signature should appear only on the back
• Two (2) signed submission forms must accompany the artwork
• Artwork must not be toxic or dangerous to visitors
Submissions will be accepted now through September 30, 2013. After the exhibition closes, the artwork will be available for pickup by the artists between Monday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 19, 2014 only.
Please deliver artwork in person or by mail, along with two completed submission forms to:
