History in the Making with Ambassador Nicholas Platt At the Katonah Museum of Art

On April 26 Ambassador Nicholas Platt will give a talk at the Katonah Museum of Art. A State Department official, Platt was part of the entourage that accompanied President Richard Nixon on his historic 1972 visit to China. Platt, whose recently published memoir China Boys recounts the trip,will share his memories, insights, and Super 8 home-movies from that time.  The presentation, which begins at 7:30pm, coincides with the current exhibition Rising Dragon: Contemporary Chinese Photography.
